Earlier in the season the government was trying to stabilize prices for inputs and banned ammonium nitrate exports. While most of the inputs grew in price, fuel prices remained relatively stable. Experts believe that input costs are 20 percent higher compared to 2021. The government is offering low interest loans, but they are unlikely to cover everybody’s needs. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
