British Value Judgements In a Chatham House speech this week, UK Secretary for International Trade Liz Truss made some commonsense statements about trade policy, and some contradictory ones. First, she correctly framed trade agreements as required to be mutually beneficial and said there is a middle ground between unregulated globalization and protectionism.
