Oilseeds Soymeal Inventory Retreats Breaking four consecutive weeks of increases, China’s estimated soymeal inventory fell to 883,700 MT as of 5 January, a 40,600 MT (-4.4 percent) drop from the previous week but 197,900 MT higher (+28.9 percent) than the same week in 2016. The primary reason for the decline was the decrease in those stocks in the East, which fell 58,500 MT (-10.7 percent) to 488,400 MT.
