Except for nearby hog futures, the CBOT/CME was essentially pure red today with grains and cattle futures falling. The stock market’s volatility and investor “flight to safety” have pushed the U.S. dollar higher (along with other factors), which is dampening U.S. export prospects.  Additionally, President Trump is calling for the final round of tariffs on more goods imported from China, which at this point would be everything. To avoid this, Presidents Trump and Xi are set to meet in November for more discussions. Market sentiment is hardly optimistic that the meeting (or the tariffs, for that matter) will resolve the current trade war.  Wall Street finished the day sharply higher on the back of a volatile day...
