The House will take up a “mini-bus” appropriations bill on Thursday this week; it is a combination of the FY 2021 appropriations bills for the Department of State & Foreign Operations, Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, Interior & Environment, Agriculture, and FDA spending blueprints. They are five of the 12 regular appropriations bills.   The package as proposed will probably pass as is on a party line basis. House Republicans are generally set to oppose the spending plan because it provides funding well above the current negotiated budget agreement and it includes several controversial policy provisions, some not related to the underlying bills.
