During that time, approximately 100 million table-egg laying hens have been depopulated due to HPAI. The July Chicken and Eggs report released yesterday shows total table egg production down in June by more than 460 million eggs, a decrease of 6.1 percent. Among the top states, only Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Wisconsin were up in egg production, adding 109,900 eggs.
