Regional News Ukraine increased its forecast of area to be sown to spring crops to 13.4 Mha, which would be down 3.5 Mha from 2021. The latest forecast is well above earlier statements from Ukraine’s ag minister that indicated spring plantings could fall to 7 Mha. Russia announced a quota for sunflower oil exports of 1.5 MMT and sunflower meal of 0.7 MMT through 31 August 2022. Russia will also ban the export of sunflower seeds and rapeseed from 1 April through 31 August 2022. Infrastructure investment due diligence

Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
