Anyone knowledgeable about the complexity of animal agriculture, and the general public’s weariness about the husbandry and slaughter processes knows that the future is cultivated or lab-grown meat. It is the reason why some of the largest and early investors in this technology have been large meat processing companies. Yet Italy and Florida have banned these products, and other states like Alabama, Indiana and Iowa have similar legislation.
