The House last week passed a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the federal government through 2013. And as we predicted on 10 September, the CR did not contain an extension of the farm bill. After the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah this week, the Senate is expected to pass the CR as soon as Thursday.
