General Comments Grain and soy prices began a rebound in overnight trade after the very sharp price break with which markets began the week. The rebound continued during the day session as well. The rationale for today's price jump was that the rains over northern portions of the Corn Belt yesterday and last night were below the forecast amounts and therefore disappointing. This should not be a surprise since the GFS model has consistently been too wet in its weather projections since the drought began.
