General Comments Markets were softer overnight on extremely light volume. Fewer than 1,000 May soybean contracts traded in the first hour or so. Corn gradually became the market leader and turned higher after the open outcry session got rolling. Volume never did improve significantly today. It is likely that will be the case the remainder of this week. Markets are closed on 29 March in observance of Good Friday. Much of the world also will be closed Monday.
