Although corn planting progress across the Midwest has been impressive these last few days, the awaited rainy system is slated to move across the Dakotas and Minnesota starting tonight and slowly spread south and eastward thereafter. It will halt planting and dump enough rain that dry, warm conditions will be needed to dry things out. Fortunately, that is what is predicted following the rain.
