General Comments Surprisingly heavy rain fell across parts of Iowa, Illinois and the northern Corn Belt over the long weekend as a frontal system stalled over the area. Reports of 2 inches were common, but some reporting points clocked as high as 6 inches. Some local flooding was reported. Rainfall was lighter moving east. WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company.
