Minneapolis wheat futures were then firmer this morning, soybeans turned higher, and corn managed to occasionally trade slightly higher, but they did not all close that way. General Comments Based on weekend temperatures across the western Corn Belt and a basically hot, dry extended weather outlook, markets were expected to open higher Sunday evening. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
