Grain and oilseeds markets were mixed to start the week in the Sunday night session. Soybeans traded slightly higher through most of the night with corn steady and wheat lower. Overnight volume was average. This week’s big news will be USDA’s April WASDE (supply and demand), set to be released tomorrow. It is expected to be neutral for wheat and soybeans but bearish for corn. Weather this week should be supportive for wheat and corn while somewhat bearish for soybeans as another round of significant moisture is forecast to fall across most of the central and northern U.S. China trade news seems to be more of the same.
