The CBOT was mixed again on Wednesday with grains seeing pressure from fund selling and a lack of significant news while soybeans and livestock traded higher. There are no serious weather issues in the U.S., South America, or Europe right now, which is taking ammunition away from grain bulls. That left KC wheat to push lower and score new contract lows while buying interest at key technical points supported corn after a mild break. The real action for the day was in the cattle markets, where live cattle surged and scored new all-time highs and fresh contract highs as beef demand remains strong.
