The CBOT opened on a mixed note with early selling pressure developing in the soy complex. By the afternoon, however, continued demand corn and soybeans pushed those markets higher while wheat futures were lower. Wheat was pressured by higher Australian production estimates as well as bear spreading from the corn market. WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company.
