Soymeal, HRW, and beef closed higher today but for everything else it was more of what was seen on Tuesday and Wednesday. Spring has sprung and crops will start going into the ground at a fast pace. Planting could be overall early and that often leads to bonus yields, assuming normal weather the rest of the way. What the market recognizes is that the supply replenishment that is wrapping up in Brazil is off to a good start in the Northern Hemisphere. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
