The CBOT ended the week on a down note with low trading volume. The soy complex recovered slightly around noon but finished the day lower with mild losses. Funds and speculative traders are paring back positions and trading volume with Europe on holiday Monday, 24 May and the U.S. celebrating its Memorial Day holiday Monday, 31 May. These holiday-shortened trading weeks increase risks over the non-tradable weekends, which will keep new position taking to a minimum. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
