Overnight futures trading started out rather slowly, but they then accelerated both in terms of volume and upward price movement during the early morning hours. Wheat, corn, soybeans and soy products were all mildly higher when trading recessed. Price action was more mixed during the day session, although wheat and soy complex prices stayed mostly higher to the close. Corn prices were more hesitant and finished down a half-cent to unchanged.
