India is home to several market research companies and being in a predominantly Hindu country they should know something about alternative proteins in a vegetarian diet. Analytical Research Cognizance says the global market for meat alternatives has a compound annual growth rate of 6.42 percent. The research firm MarketsandMarkets says the growth rate is 6.8 percent and Mordor Intelligence sees a 7.9 percent annual growth rate.  Meanwhile, Chicago-based A.T.
