Sri Lanka is forecast, by USDA-FAS, to have to import 1.3 MMT of wheat in 2022/23, an increase of 270,000MT. No wheat is produced in Sri Lanka. Wheat is used for both food and for animal feed. Forecasting developments in production agriculture
On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
