Barley production will be the same as 2022 at 1 MMT but this is 275,000 MT below the five-year average. Just under 1 MMT of barley are expected to be imported. Algeria does not produce maize so imports of about 4 MMT will be needed for animal feed. WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company.
