Rosario Grain Exchange Reduces Its Forecast for Argentine Soybeans The Rosario Grain Exchange today cut its forecast for this year's Argentine soybean crop to 44.5 MMT. That is 5 MMT fewer than its previous forecast and one of the lowest forecasts by anyone. The exchange said major losses were caused by the drought that impacted the country in December and January and that some of the worst losses were in Cordoba province. It estimated the national average soybean yield at 2.4 MT/hectare (35.7 bushels/acre).
