Big Jump in U.S. Soymeal Export Sales Today's FAS Exports Sales report indicated U.S. exporters last week sold 258,700 MT of soymeal for shipment in 2011/12 and an additional 23,300 MT for delivery in the next marketing year. The combined sales of 282,000 MT of soymeal for export was far higher than market analysts' pre-report estimates of 50,000-150,000 MT and the 141,300 MT reported sold in the previous week. The largest buyers were Philippines (96,800 MT), Venezuela (62,700 MT), Egypt (32,000 MT), Canada (30,400 MT) Mexico (30,300 MT) and the Dominican Republic (20,600 MT).
