Brazil Slightly Increases 2013 Soybean Crop Estimate The Brazilian commodity supply agency (Conab) today raised its forecast for the 2013 crop of soybeans by 200,000 MT to 81.5 MMT. If correct, that would be the largest soybean crop ever harvested by Brazil. It also would be the first time Brazilian soybean production exceeded that of the U.S.Conab also raised its forecast for the country's 2013 corn crop from 78.5 MMT to 79.1 MMT, which includes production in the winter season following the first-crop soybean and corn harvest.
