Paris wheat futures were higher as a crop-threatening heat wave settles in over Western Europe. The high temperatures follow a dry spell across Ukraine and Russia. Meanwhile, Black Sea wheat prices were steady after dropping significantly in the past month. The sell-off in those values allowed Egypt to procure Russian and Romanian wheat for July shipment at prices well below U.S. or French offers.
