Part of the COVID-19 relief package was the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans available to small businesses. It was designed to help small businesses keep employees on the payroll. The loans will be non-recourse, something familiar in the farming world, for businesses who keep employees on the payroll for eight weeks.
