War Nears End Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) said today that if President Trump continues with his “misguided and reckless reliance on tariffs” that he will advance legislation to curtail his trade authority. The chairman appears clueless that Trump’s intent all along has been to continue increasing tariffs until trading partners offer terms of trade that he finds acceptable.
