Funds are now putting on more defensive positions as prices continue to ratchet lower. Charts are beginning to form large tops, which if verified would have to be monitored for a downside break -out. On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
