GOOD MORNING, Grains and soy are higher this morning after several weeks of world markets grappling with the unknown of the Coronavirus, making this a true turn-around Tuesday. Outside markets are rebounding as well, with the Dow up over 600 pts since it hit its overall lows. Beans are bouncing, but still have to grapple with the weight of Brazilian harvest and a weaker currency, which always invites more selling pressure. Corn exports remain a bright spot until South America can grow their second crop and get it shipped out the door. WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment.
