GOOD MORNING, Grains and soy are higher this morning after several weeks of world markets grappling with the unknown of the Coronavirus, making this a true turn-around Tuesday. Outside markets are rebounding as well, with the Dow up over 600 pts since it hit its overall lows. Beans are bouncing, but still have to grapple with the weight of Brazilian harvest and a weaker currency, which always invites more selling pressure. Corn exports remain a bright spot until South America can grow their second crop and get it shipped out the door. Infrastructure investment due diligence
On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
