GOOD MORNING, Prices are mostly defensive this morning but still in recent trading ranges. Last week’s price movements is requiring position-evening this week, with shorts lightening up. Funds purchased soyoil futures as a hedge against a mostly even to short board. Funds still carry a short meal/long soyoil position heading into Thursday's numbers. Volumes were extremely low with about half of it now going to spread trade. This is day 2 of the Goldman roll, where index funds buy January contactrs and sell November. Weighing in on strategic realignment
WPI’s team was retained by the governing board of a U.S. industry organization to review a decision, reached by vote, to invest significant assets into the development and management of an export trading company. WPI’s team conducted a formal review of this decision and concluded that the current level of market saturation would limit the benefits of the investment. Based on WPI’s analysis and recommended actions, the board subsequently reversed its decision and undertook a strategic planning effort to identify more impactful investments.
