The destinations were primarily to Mexico (103,200 MT), China (68,400 MT), Taiwan (49,800 MT), the Philippines (37,700 MT), and Japan (36,000 MT). On behalf of a private U.S. agricultural technology provider, WPI’s team generated an econometric model to forecast the movement of concentrated corn production north and west from the traditional U.S. Corn Belt.
