Export Sales and Shipments for July 14-20, 2023 Wheat: Net sales of 233,200 metric tons (MT) for 2023/2024 were up 37 percent from the previous week, but down 17 percent from the prior 4-week average. Export shipments of 395,100 MT were up 67 percent from the previous week and 46 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to the Philippines (154,400 MT, including 29,700 - late), South Korea (78,000 MT), Mexico (50,200 MT), Honduras (30,000 MT), and Nigeria (28,100 MT). On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment.
