Export Sales and Shipments for August 4-10, 2023 Wheat: Net sales of 359,500 metric tons (MT) for 2023/2024 were down 37 percent from the previous week, but up 3 percent from the prior 4-week average. Export shipments of 229,400 MT were down 35 percent from the previous week and 38 percent from the prior 4-week average. The destinations were primarily to Vietnam (41,200 MT), South Korea (31,400 MT), Ecuador (31,100 MT), Mexico (27,800 MT), and Panama (24,800 MT). On behalf of a Canadian oilseed processer WPI's team provided market analysis, econometric modeling and financial due diligence in support of a $24 million-dollar investment in a Ukrainian crush plant. Consistent with WPI's findings, local production to supply the plant and the facility's output have expanded exponentially since the investment. WPI has conducted parallel work on behalf of U.S., South American and European clients, both private and public, in the agri-food space.
