USDA announced the sale of 120,000 MT of old crop soybeans to unknown for the current marketing year. This was a small surprise since the market has been waiting for announcements of cancellations, not additional sales. General Comments Markets were quiet Sunday evening on extremely light trading volume. Corn and wheat futures had very narrow ranges overnight, but January soybean futures did have a 12-cent trading range.Markets will trade until 1pm (EST) tomorrow (24 December) and then close until 9:30 AM (EST) Thursday (26 December) for the Christmas holiday.
