Wheat Last week, rains finally came to Argentina with good coverage over the agricultural areas. The precipitation brought some relief for the wheat and corn crops in the driest areas. The rains will largely stop the wheat crop’s deterioration but will not necessarily improve conditions. Additional rains are forecast for the coming two weeks and the hope is that they will completely refill the soil moisture profile.

The impact of these rains on the wheat crop in the north of Argentina will be limited, as most of the crop is finished there.
