Corn Argentine corn basis levels are now weaker than they were in our last report, especially those for August and September shipments, where there is big pressure due to farmer selling. For both August and September, offers dropped around 25-30 cents compared to our last report. Sellers would like to trade below -60 CZ. Demand remains quiet as most buyers already have covered their needs for these positions. There is some demand for October onwards, though no trades were reported during the last week. With weaker offers, however, buyers have started to ask and compare with other origins.
