Turkey’s large wheat flour exports will probably now have to be produced from local wheat rather than from imported wheat although this was not covered in the initial announcement. The biggest effect of this move is seen on Russian and Ukrainian wheat exports. Russia has reportedly asked Turkey to delay this import ban.
