Losses were limited to about 1,000 MT. Kordin has been used by many regional buyers as a handy grain storage facility for North African markets. Egypt advises that the 2023 wheat planting area will increase by about 11 percent to 4 million feddan, about 4.15 million acres. 2022 area was 3.6 million feddan, 3.74 million acres.
