Not “Impossible” Following the Trump-driven upheaval at last month’s G-7 meeting, no one was surprised when he did the same at this week’s NATO gathering. As usual, President Trump overstated his case. Critics jumped to debunk his statement while headed to Brussels that, “The European Union makes it impossible for our farmers and workers and companies to do business in Europe.” The word ‘impossible’ is wrong since the U.S. exports a high volume of farm and manufactured goods to Europe.
