U.S. Soy Export Sales Today’s U.S. export sales report for the week ending 4 April indicated a substantial drop for soybeans from the previous week. Net soybean export sales for 2018/19 shipment totaled only 270,400 MT, down 86 percent from the previous week and 76 percent below the past four-week average. The top sales were to Indonesia (73,700 MT), Mexico (71,000 MT), the Netherlands (66,300 MT), Egypt (54,700 MT) and Japan (48,700 MT). Those and other sales were partially offset by reductions for unknown destinations of 99,300 MT. Sales for shipment in 2019/20 totaled 10,000 MT with Malaysia (5,000 MT) and Japan (3,900 MT) the largest buyers.
